About Priscilla
Growing up in Harlem NYC, Coach P first learned the game in the park.  She spent her days circulating from the many courts Harlem had to offer. From "Crack is Wack"  to legendary Rucker Park, Coach P learned how to be fearless and play with grit. Competing with boys and men she learned how never back down. It was her high school Frederick Douglass Academy, where she began to polish her game, this was also her introduction to girls basketball. From FDA to St. Bonaventure, Priscilla continued to adapt, her hard work followed her all the way to the highest level of college basketball.

Although her playing career was cut short due to injuries, it was from this adversity that her passion for  instructing the game was born. Beginning her coaching career at her alma mater St. Bonaventure University and eventually returning home to coach at St. John's University in the storied BIG EAST conference. In Summer of 2016, Priscilla returned to the collegiate ranks becoming the Associate Head Coach of Providence College in Providence Rhode Island.

" I have been blessed to play with, against, and coached College All Americans, European, WNBA and Olympic champions. It is from these experiences I draw my inspiration everyday." - Priscilla

The PE Philosophy

Attention to Mental Development

The game of basketball is ever changing and unpredictable. One of the most underrated skills in the game is Mental Focus. The most successful players in the game and in life  are the most adaptable and focused. Missed shots, bad calls, pesky defenders does not sway their focus in game.

These players devote all of their mental energy to in game details and execution. Their focus is always on the #NEXT play. The more you work on handling adverse situations, especially in your training and development, the more this adaptability will translate to in game and in life.

Attention to Detail

DETAIL: Everything we do is detail oriented. Between skill enhancement drills, and game situation drills, everything has a purpose that will be made clear throughout our time working together. Through our development I aim to answer the H.W.W.W (How to do it, Why do it, When to do it, Where to do it)

FOCUS: "Focus on your Focus". Is a quote I use very often. On court we focus on doing not just doing the task  but performing it the right way, every time. Their will always be a focus on proper technique and pace.

Attention to Movement

Basketball is a game of movements. Your whole body must be in tune with the basketball and the flow of the game. We focus a great deal on proper movements with and without the ball.  Eliminating unnecessary movement (on jumpers and attacking angles). Eliminating counterproductive movements. (leaning back on drives forward, trying to explode flat footed.)

Shortly after earning a full division one scholarship, I realized the power of basketball as a key to endless opportunities. It has been my mission to share my knowledge and experiences with as many as I can reach.
